Lifecycle of Scholarly Work Course

The Lifecycle of Scholarly Work Course is a professional development program that aims to provide faculty, staff and students of all skill levels with a foundational understanding of best practices, policies, and resources for performing research and scholarly activity at 91会所.

Special emphasis is placed on the development of proposals leading to external funding (i.e., sponsored programs) and the successful management thereof. Persons who are new to the development, implementation, and management of research and scholarly activity or those with such experience who are new to Marian, are particularly encouraged to complete this course to establish a solid foundation of knowledge on which to build on their scholarly programs at Marian. More experienced persons are encouraged to participate in the course in order to share their perspectives with others and to refresh their knowledge.

Modules are delivered via monthly discussion sessions (in-person and synchronous, virtual formats available). It is recommended that learners take the courses and modules in the order listed below but you may participate in any module of interest. A certificate of completion will be awarded upon completion of all modules in a course level.
