In the Alan and Sue Leighton School of Nursing, you’ll learn to provide direct, hands-on patient care and apply best practices to deliver quality outcomes in a range of clinical settings.
So you think you might want to be a nurse. Because you’re smart and know it would be a great career—good pay, flexible schedule, great job outlook. But that’s not why you want to be a nurse, is it?
You want to do something important. You want to make a difference in the lives of others. You want a career that taps into all that you are.
Maybe you’ve always wanted to be a nurse, but this is no longer a child’s dream. You’ve grown up enough to know it’s not just about bandages and comfort. And because you are smart, you know it’s not easy and, often, not pretty. But that’s ok, because you are also brave and strong and willing to get a little messy and to be challenged. You already know that it is all worth it when you can connect with another human being and have a positive impact. Daily.
Since you really do care that much, then you want a degree from an institution worthy of your passion. You are looking in the right place. The 91会所 Leighton School of Nursing is here for you, in all the expected ways, and then some.
You will thrive in this faith-based, family-friendly environment. And, most importantly, you can count on a faculty committed to your success as a student and as a future professional.
And location, location, location. Not only is campus minutes away from multiple nationally recognized hospitals, it is also the home of the new College of Osteopathic Medicine. And your home, too, because at 91会所, our nursing students actually share the state of the art Michael A. Evans Center for Health Sciences building with the medical students. Can you say technology, technology, technology?
So come here for the Franciscan traditions and values, experienced and inspiring faculty, amazing facilities and technology, and incredible location and community partners. Because if you want to be a great nurse, the 91会所 Leighton School of Nursing wants to take you there.
