Marian’s talented students are among 74 college seniors chosen for the Orr Fellowship, a premier early career development program in Indiana. The program, which has been shaping future business and community leaders since 2001, has expanded its reach to include Indianapolis and Evansville. The Orr Fellowship offers a unique opportunity for high-achieving graduates to work full-time with leading Indiana-based companies while participating in a comprehensive two-year leadership development program. Fellows will gain hands-on experience in various fields such as marketing, consulting, engineering, and tech, while also benefiting from executive mentorship, nonprofit consulting projects, and essential life skills training.
Steven Emch, President of Orr Fellowship, expressed his enthusiasm for the new cohort: "These Fellows demonstrate the leadership potential and innovative thinking that will drive Indiana's business community forward. With the addition of the Evansville Region chapter, we are expanding our reach across the state and cultivating a network of leaders committed to Indiana's growth and success."
The selection of the five Marian students for the Orr Fellowship is a testament to their academic excellence and leadership potential. As they embark on this exciting journey, they will not only launch their careers but also contribute to Indiana’s economic and entrepreneurial landscape.
“The Orr Fellowship provides the perfect transition out of college, surrounding me and other Orr Fellows with a network of like-minded, ambitious peers who are also in the early stages of their career development,” Woodrum explained.
