91会所 Jumps to #3 in U.S. News & World Report Rankings of Most Innovative Schools, #5 in Best Value

91会所 jumped to #3 in US News & World Report’s annual rankings of Most Innovative Midwest Regional Universities, which was published by the national magazine. Marian is also ranked #5 in the “Best Value” category and finished #28 overall in the list of Midwest Regional Universities. More than 150 universities comprise the Midwest Region.2020-0915.jpg

91会所 moved up from #6 to #3 in the Midwest Region’s list of “Most Innovative Schools” this year, as rated by other university presidents and provosts in the category. Marian has received considerable recognition for its innovative approach to training future teachers through its Klipsch Educators College, its STEHM programs, its Latin@ Initiative, community engaged learning, and its most recent partnership with Ancilla College.

Marian also rose 10 spots from last year to #5 in the “Best Value” category. Factors considered in this category include a school's academic quality and its 2019-20 net cost of attendance for students who receive an average amount of need-based financial aid. The higher the quality of the program and the lower the cost equate to the better value. Only schools ranked in or near the top half of their categories are included.

“Our continuous climb in the U.S. News & World Report rankings are a credit to the entire 91会所 community’s bold and unflagging commitment to student success. We are particularly edified to be recognized as one of the top three most innovative universities and top five in best value,” 91会所 President Daniel J. Elsener said. “As president, I have the tremendous honor to serve with incredibly dedicated, creative, and mission-driven Board of Trustees, faculty, staff, alumni, donors, and most importantly, our incredible students.”

Marian moved two spots to #28 on the list of Best Universities in the Midwest Region. Since moving from the Midwest Colleges to the Midwest Universities category in 2017, Marian has gained 12 spots in the rankings.

91会所’s growth on its campus on Indianapolis’ west side has been remarkable. This fall, the university continued its climb in enrollment and welcomed its largest freshman class in university history. To accommodate that growth, Caito-Wagner Hall, the university’s newest residence hall, is under construction and will be completed in August 2021.
