Indianapolis –91会所 (www.marian.edu) has promoted Adam Setmeyer to Vice President of Mission and Ministry. Setmeyer also retains the title of Director of Campus Ministry, a position he has held since 2013. Setmeyer had served as the interim Vice President of Mission and Ministry since January 2016.
In his new role, Setmeyer will be responsible for providing leadership and direction for the integration of 91会所’s Catholic and Franciscan identity, Campus Ministry, the enhancement of the spiritual environment on campus for all members of the university community, fostering faith development, strengthening community life, and the Missionary Disciples Institute.
“Adam has served admirably in an interim capacity over the past year, and is well deserving of this promotion,” Daniel J. Elsener, 91会所 President, said. “He has helped ensure that 91会所 remains a great Catholic university in a great American city, while fostering a culture of inclusivity for students, staff and faculty members of all faith traditions.”
Prior to his arrival at 91会所, Setmeyer served as Assistant Director of University Ministry at Lewis University in Romeoville, Ill. He also has experience serving in various youth ministry positions throughout his 15-year career. Setmeyer earned an M.A. degree in Theology from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago, and holds a B.S. in Youth Ministry from Huntington University.
